Sister Friends United Inc. is an award winning 501c3 nonprofit organization made up of Black Girl Magic and
filled with Black Excellence; we are a group of true difference makers. Our membership body started with 5 in 2007 in Little Rock, AR and today spans across the country. For over 15 years, we’ve lived our motto “United We Stand, United We Make a Difference” as we’ve impacted the lives of many women and future women
leaders by creating platforms like our annual Women of Excellence awards and our Faith Scholarship for traditional and nontraditional students. We’ve taken a leap of “FAITH” and expanded our brand to create a 3 day annual traveling experience, the Girlfriend Conference. This is a conference centered around the fun activities of a girlfriend’s trip and empowerment sessions that educate minority women on mental & physical health, personal brand building and effective networking. This will be the 3rd annual GFC and we are excited to have support from
our prior two conferences from Mayor Jerry Demings of Orlando; celebrity artist and actress, Tamar Braxton & Brely Evans; Grammy nominated artists, RaheemDeVaughn and Calvin Richardson; and influencers, Anita Hawkins and Y’anna Crawley.
The proceeds from this conference support community economic growth by providing minority business grants and increasing our nontraditional scholarships.
